Country Chic Clay Based Paint Review

Updated: Aug 3, 2019

First of all, I LOVE Country Chic paint products as I used to be a retailer for them. I stopped carrying the products because I had a gap in locations for commercial retail space so I was not allowed to carry it anymore unless I could open up my home for customers, which was not going to work for me. I am also super sad that they discontinued the chalk based line, which is my all time favorite paint!

Featured here is

* DISTRESSING: SUPER easy to distress! Be careful to sand with little pressure if you do not want to take to much paint off.

* SCENT : It does have a light earthy odor but nothing very offensive,. Still ok for indoor use.

* CONSISTENCY : It's a little thicker so make sure to stir it slowly as shaking does not mix it much. You can also add some water to it if you want to thin it out.

*COVERAGE : The coverage is pretty good and the second coat really fills the gaps. I was impressed that with the dark color I used that I only truly needed two coats. as often times you need 3 with darker color paints.

DRY TIME: It dries fast!
